Running The Engines Videos

May 13 2016 News >> Latest News

FODMs engine team run the engines in the Science Maze Gallery at least once per month. We have added a couple of videos of one of them running.

This is a Crossley gas engine made in Manchester in 1951. The engine was powered by town gas made from coke. This particular engine was used at Gateshead Technical College to enable engineering students to measure engine performance

You can next see them running on Tuesday 31st May from 10am onwards
